WACO, TEXAS (March 21, 2023) – Joshua Mendez of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) was awarded the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Baseball Pitcher of the Week for March 13-19. This is the eighth set of weekly honors for the 2023 baseball season.

Mendez accounted for the Saints' only win in their three-game series with Louisiana Christian University. The senior lefty from Corpus Christi, Texas, limited LCU to three hits over seven innings while striking out five and walking one. Mendez carries a 3-2 record with a 3.48 ERA on the season. OLLU holds on to third in the RRAC at 10-5 with a mark of 18-12 overall.
