SAN ANTONIO (May 10, 2023) – Alec Martinez of the Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) baseball team was awarded Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) All-Tournament honors for his pitching in the conference tournament.

Martinez threw a complete game shutout against Jarvis Christian University (JCU) in the second game of the tournament. He totaled 10 strikeouts and allowed only five hits in seven innings pitched. Martinez finished the year with a 7-2 record on the mound. Martinez ends his six-year Saints career with a 3.99 ERA, 244 strikeouts and a 16-16 record.
