Monzon was a driving force behind the Saints' four-overtime victory over Texas Wesleyan University (TWU) on Saturday. The graduate forward from San Diego, Calif., scored 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in a 119-117 thriller. With a one-point lead in the final seconds of the fourth overtime, Monzon stole the ball from TWU and made a free throw for the final point of the game. He also had 16 points and nine boards in a 74-71 loss to Southwestern Assemblies of God University one night before. For the week, Monzon made 16-of-32 shots from the field and 2-of-7 from three-point range. It was the first action of the season for OLLU, which starts at 1-1.
