WACO, TEXAS (Nov. 13, 2023) – Lonzo Rand of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) earned recognition as the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the dates of Nov. 6-12. This is the second award of the 2023-24 men's basketball season.

Rand led the Saints to an 84-73 upset of 10^th-ranked Wayland Baptist University (Texas)  with 22 points on Thursday. The junior guard from Tampa, Fla., was 6-of-8 from the field including 3-of-4 from three-point range. Rand was also 7-of-9 from the free throw line. He is averaging 16.5 points per game in four games this season. OLLU is now 1-3 after notching its first win.
