WACO, TEXAS (Nov. 18, 2024) – Trey Law and Lonzo Rand, the dynamic duo of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU), have both earned recognition in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Men's Basketball. Law was named Offensive Player of the Week for Nov. 11-17, while Rand was celebrated as the Defensive Player of the Week for the same period. This marks the third set of weekly awards for the 2024-25 men's basketball season, a testament to the team's collective effort and skill.

Law, a senior guard from Mobile, Ala., has been a consistent performer for the Saints, averaging 15.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. His standout performance was in the game against Xavier University, where he scored 19 points. He also added 12 points in the game against Louisiana Christian University, bringing his total points in the season to 99. For the week, he was 14-of-22 from the field. Law is fifth in the conference in field goal percentage this season (65.6%). OLLU stayed unbeaten at 6-0.

Rand, the defensive powerhouse, provided four steals and five defensive rebounds for the Saints. The senior guard from Tampa Bay, Fla., also averaged 11.0 points per game last week, demonstrating his all-around contribution to the team's success.
