OLLU Battles Hard but Falls Short Against Hot-Shooting Owls

Klamath Falls, Oregon- Our Lady of the Lake fell 87–68 to a sharp-shooting Oregon Tech squad, but the Saints showed stretches of the resilience and pace that have come to define their identity. Despite the loss, several OLLU players delivered performances that underscored the team's depth and competitiveness.

Kenyon Elliott led the Saints with an efficient 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting, knocking down three triples and providing steady playmaking with six assists. Jaydin Morin-Bishop added 10 points, including two three-pointers, giving OLLU a needed spark early. Inside, Wahkil Lopez battled on the glass with six rebounds, while Isaiah Moore made the most of his minutes, scoring eight points on 4-of-6 shooting. The bench contributed key moments as well, highlighted by Matthew Gonzalez's pair of threes and the steady energy from Devontae Da Costa and Davonte Durst.

OLLU shot 41.7 percent from the field and 50 percent from three, numbers that typically keep them in command, but Oregon Tech countered with exceptional efficiency of its own. The Owls shot over 53 percent overall and found consistent scoring from multiple spots on the floor, gradually creating separation in the second half. Despite the statistical gap on the boards and the Owls 22 assists, the Saints continued to push tempo and create quality looks, refusing to fade as the game stretched on.

The Saints will be back in action this week away against St. Edwards (TBA) and at home on Saturday at 3:00 PM CDT against rival TAMUSA.
