Waco, Texas- Sophomore Jermey Irwin led OLLU's defense as the Saints had a three-game sweep. In the 72-68 victory over USW, Irwin grabbed six defensive rebounds, as well as 14 points and three assists. Irwin added five rebounds,19 points, two assists, and two steals in his team's 93-92 win over NAU, while adding 10 points, five rebounds, and a season-high six steals in the 78-57 victory over XULA.

OLLU is 14-9 overall and 13-5 in the RRAC. The Saints are on a five-game winning streak.

The RRAC announced that the RRAC Men's Hoops Players of the Week awards are presented to (15) LSU Shreveport's Thaddeus Johnson for Offensive Player of the Week and Our Lady of the Lake's (Texas) Jermey Irwin for Defensive Player of the Week for Feb. 2-8. This is the 14th set of weekly awards.
