Bio

Eric Bitoni is in his fifth season as assistant coach for the men's basketball program.

Bitoni joined as an assistant coach for the men's basketball program in 2019, primarily assisting the men's development team since its inaugural year. He previously served as the boy's basketball head coach for Heritage Academy Charter School.

He has been coaching basketball for six years, recently serving as the Youth Ambassador Program Director for The Basketball Embassy, a nonprofit based in San Antonio. During his tenure, he oversaw all operations within this program that served at-risk and homeless youth using basketball as a platform to build their basketball fundamentals with character building intangibles. He has also assisted and led in many basketball camps and clinics of all skill levels, for organizations such as The Basketball Embassy, Nike Basketball Camps, to name a few.

Bitoni received his Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology in May 2017 from Texas A&M University - San Antonio, and is receiving his Master of Education from Relay Graduate School of Education in December 2024.
