Men's Golf Opens 17th Season in Early October
SAN ANTONIO (Sept. 27, 2024) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's golf program will begin its 17th season with a tournament in New Mexico in early October.
2023-2024 season overview
Last season, the men played in seven tournaments, with the Saints' best finish being a remarkable second place at the John Bohmann Invitational, hosted by Texas Lutheran University. Equally impressive was their second-place finish in the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament, held in Victoria, Texas, and hosted by the University of Houston-Victoria. These achievements set a promising tone for the upcoming season.
Fall overview and season projections
The Saints will play a handful of tournaments in the fall, beginning with the University of the Southwest Fall Invitational in Hobbs, N.M., from Oct. 6-8.
