Men's Golf Ends First Day in Victoria in Fourth Place
VICTORIA, TEXAS (Oct. 21, 2024) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's golf team is in fourth place after one round at the University of Houston-Victoria (UHV) Fall Classic.
In first is UHV with a round of 281, followed by Blinn College A with 283, Blinn College B with 286, OLLU A with 291, Ranger College with 297, Texas A&M University – San Antonio with 297, OLLU B with 300 and Louisiana Christian University with 301.
Leading the way for the Saints is Oliver Gaisford, who is in ninth place with a round of 71. Ozil Salinas is tied with Gaisford. Oscar Gutierrez is in a tie for 11th place with a 72, and Victor Peña shot a 73. Jake Casias had a round of 74 and Alex Marshall and John Martinez both shot a 75. Andreas Skaar had a round of 76, Luke Thornton – 77, Juan Limon – 78, Niall Langley-Brook – 78, Fernando Limon – 81 and Josh Brook – 83.
The tournament will conclude on Tuesday.
