WACO, TEXAS (Feb. 21, 2024) - Luis Hernandez of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) earned the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Tennis Player of the Week award for Feb. 12-18. This is the third set of weekly winners for the 2024 RRAC tennis season.

Hernandez led the Saints to a victory over No. 12-ranked University of the Cumberlands (UC) at the Georgia Gwinnett University (GGU) Grizzly Invitational on Friday. The junior from Eagle Pass, Texas, won his singles match, 6-1, 6-2, and doubles with teammate Jaroslav Majsajdr, 6-1. Hernandez also won in singles and doubles in a team loss to Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), and took losses as OLLU fell to No. 1 GGU. The Saints are ranked 20th nationally and hold a 5-9 record.
