SAN ANTONIO (Oct. 8, 2024) - The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's cross-country team will host the Eighth Annual OLLU Cross-Country Invite on Oct. 12. The meet will be at Windcrest Golf Course located at 8600 Midcrown Dr. in Windcrest, Texas.

Head Coach Brett Charlton said, "The men are excited to be hosting the meet this weekend. This will be our biggest invitational hosted to date. The team is coming off a great meet at Dallas Baptist University and we have a lot of momentum heading into the back half of the season."

The men will participate in the 8000m at 8:45 a.m. Participating schools include Angelo State University, Arlington Baptist University, Dallas Christian College, Hardin-Simmons University, Schreiner University, University of St. Thomas, Sul Ross State, Texas A&M International University, Texas Lutheran University, Trinity College, University of North Texas-Dallas, University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and Victoria College. 

The Saints will have 18 runners competing. They include Ryan Aldana, Dominic Alonzo, Marc Castro, Tony Favella, Vincent Garza, Joseph Gonzalez, JoseCarlos Hernandez, Kruz Malesich, Diego Moran, Isai Moran, Sabastian Moreno, Jose Perez, Robert Rios, Andrew Ruiz, Sigifredo Salinas, Jose Saucedo, Jayden Turrubiates and Joshua Veliz.
