KANSAS CITY, MO. (March 7, 2023) — Madison Nunn of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) has been named NAIA National Softball Player of the Week the national office announced Tuesday. She was selected based on her performance from Feb. 28 through March 5, 2023.

 Nunn led the Saints to a sweep of the No. 1 and No. 3 team in the NAIA. In games against Oklahoma City, she marked two homers and four RBIs, and against the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma she homered two and added three RBIs. Nunn is batting .319 and has a .411 OB% and .617 SLG. 

This marks the first time a softball student-athlete from OLLU has been selected as a NAIA National Player of the Week.
