San Antonio, Texas- Our Lady of the Lake secured a 59–49 victory over Louisiana Christian behind a balanced effort and a strong presence on the glass. Both teams finished with identical shooting percentages from the field at 31.7 percent, but OLLU's ability to control rebounds and convert at the free-throw line proved decisive.

Shayla Dede led the Saints with 16 points, making all 10 of her free-throw attempts while adding eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Alexandra Westerdijk Martin provided a steady interior presence, scoring 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting and pulling down a game-high 15 rebounds to anchor OLLU's rebounding advantage. Macie Smith also reached double figures with 12 points and contributed eight rebounds, helping the Saints maintain control throughout the contest.

OLLU dominated the boards with a 55–31 rebounding edge, including 16 offensive rebounds that generated extra scoring opportunities. The Saints were unable to connect from beyond the arc, finishing 0-for-19 from three-point range, but compensated by attacking the paint and capitalizing at the free-throw line, where they shot 80.8 percent.
