Saints Roll Past Jarvis Christian for Third Straight Win
San Antonio, Texas- Our Lady of the Lake women's basketball continued its momentum with a convincing victory over Jarvis Christian, securing its third consecutive win with a strong all-around performance.
OLLU set the tone early with efficient offense and disciplined defense, building control of the game through balanced scoring and consistent pressure. The Saints shot 47.7 percent from the field and outworked Jarvis Christian on the glass, finishing with a 38–36 rebounding edge while forcing 23 turnovers.
Macie Moss led the Saints with 12 points, knocking down four field goals and two three-pointers while adding four rebounds and two assists. Evangeline Hernandez provided a spark off the bench, contributing 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting. Alexandra Westerdijk Martin was highly efficient, finishing with 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting, while Shayla Dede added nine points, seven rebounds, and three assists to help anchor the effort on both ends of the floor.
Depth played a key role in the victory as OLLU's reserves contributed timely scoring and defensive energy. Amya Miller-Singleton chipped in seven points, Zariah Todd added seven more, and Anissa Cardona filled the stat sheet with five points and three steals. The Saints totaled 13 assists and 14 steals, highlighting their unselfish play and defensive intensity.
Jarvis Christian struggled to find offensive rhythm, shooting 22.9 percent from the field and 16.7 percent from three-point range. Carmela Hayden and Keiora Gaines led the Lady Bulldogs with eight points apiece, but OLLU's defense limited second-chance opportunities and controlled the pace throughout the contest.
With the 78–32 win, Our Lady of the Lake builds confidence heading forward, showing growth on both sides of the ball as the team continues to come together during this three-game winning streak.
