Two OLLU Women's Tennis Student-Athletes Earn NAIA Scholar-Athlete Recognition

KANSAS CITY, MO. (May 16, 2023) - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Women's Tennis Scholar-Athletes on Monday. The 2023 list features student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution, appeared on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.

Earning recognition from OLLU are the following:

Brisa Gonzales, who earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in December 2022, was a part of the Saints team since for two seasons. In 2022, she received NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition and she is a two-time Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Scholar-Athlete. She earned a 3.94.

Saskia Vogelzang, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics, joined the Saints team in January 2022. She is a two-time RRAC Scholar-Athlete. She earned a 3.79 GPA.
