OLLU's Deandra Ybarra Wins Setter of the Week Award

WACO, TEXAS (Sept. 11, 2023) – Deandra Ybarra of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) was named the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Setter of the Week for Sept. 4-10. This is the third set of weekly winners for the 2023 RRAC volleyball season.

Ybarra stepped into the Saints' lineup and delivered 64 assists and 15 digs in her OLLU debut. The freshman defensive specialist from Alice, Texas, averaged 10.7 assists per set as the Saints swept a pair of matches against Texas College. She also averaged 3.1 digs per set. OLLU improved to 2-0 in the RRAC and 5-8 on the season.
