WACO, TEXAS (Oct. 31, 2023) – Lauren Reynard of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) was tabbed as the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Volleyball Setter of the Week for Oct. 23-29. Tina Trevino of OLLU claimed her third straight RRAC Defender of the Week award for the same dates. This is the 10th set of weekly winners for the 2023 RRAC volleyball season.

Reynard led the Saints to a pair of sweeps over Huston-Tillotson University (HTU) on Friday and Saturday. The sophomore setter from San Antonio marked 40 assists in the first match and 38 in the second for an average of 13.0 per set. Reynard is first in the conference with 962 assists and second with 11.1 assists per set. OLLU improved to 13-1 in the RRAC and 16-11 overall.

Trevino accounted for 35 digs in the matches against HT. The junior libero from Laredo, Texas, averaged 5.8 digs per set and reached a total of 20 in Saturday's match. Trevino leads the RRAC in digs per set (4.9) and total digs (456). She is already the all-time leader in digs at OLLU with another year to play.
