WACO, TEXAS (Nov. 7, 2023) – Madalyn Gonzalez of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) was selected as the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Volleyball Attacker of the Week for Oct. 30-Nov. 5. Lauren Reynard of OLLU earned the RRAC Setter of the Week award for the same dates. This is the 11^th and final set of weekly winners for the 2023 RRAC volleyball season.

Reynard led the Saints to a two-match sweep over Xavier University of Louisiana to clinch the RRAC regular season title. The sophomore setter from San Antonio racked up 69 assists in the series and averaged 9.9 per set. Reynard leads the conference in total assists (1,031) and assists per set (10.2). She broke the OLLU single-season record for total assists this week. The Saints enter the RRAC tournament as the top seed at 15-1 in the RRAC and 18-11 on the season.

Gonzalez played a key role in OLLU's victories over Xavier. The senior middle blocker from San Antonio totaled 14 blocks including 10 solo in the two matches. Gonzalez also broke the OLLU season record for solo blocks with 32 to date. She is third in the conference in solos and fourth in total blocks with 76.
