Pineville, LA- The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) Saints volleyball team delivered a commanding performance on the road Friday night, sweeping the Louisiana Christian University Wildcats in straight sets, 25-11, 25-20, and 25-11. With the victory, the Saints improved to 6-7 overall and remain undefeated in conference play at 3-0.

From the first serve to the final point, the Saints played with confidence, poise, and purpose, showcasing their depth and execution across the board. The tone was set early as OLLU dominated the opening set 25-11, silencing the Wildcats home crowd with a relentless offensive attack and airtight defense. The second set proved to be a more competitive battle, but the Saints never lost control, closing it out 25-20 before once again overpowering Louisiana Christian in the third, finishing the match with another convincing 25-11 scoreline.

Setter Lauren Reynard masterfully orchestrated the Saints offense with 30 assists, distributing the ball with precision and rhythm. She added six digs to her stat line, showing her versatility on both ends of the court.

Offensively, Anais Velasquez was a force at the net, leading the charge with 12 kills. Her aggressive presence also carried over to defense with four digs and four blocks, making her a key all-around contributor to the win. Clarissa Rodriguez complemented the attack with 11 kills of her own, further solidifying the Saints front line dominance.

Defensively, Chanisty Villareal Bermea anchored the back row with a team-high 11 digs, providing the steadiness needed to counter any momentum the Wildcats attempted to build. Nicole Bir made her presence felt at the net as well, tallying two solo blocks and assisting on two more to help shut down Louisiana Christian's hitters.
