Saints Shine on the National Stage as Reynard, Francis, and Villarreal Bermea Earn AVCA Honors

San Antonio, Texas— Our Lady of the Lake University volleyball earned significant national recognition as Lauren Reynard, Mia Francis, and Chanisty Villarreal Bermea were named to the AVCA 2025 NAIA All-Region Teams, highlighting a standout season for the Saints and further establishing the program's presence on the national stage.

The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced its All-Region selections following votes by the NAIA Selection Committee. Across nine regions, 198 student-athletes were recognized as first-team or honorable mention selections, representing 106 NAIA institutions. With competition spanning the entire country, OLLU's three honorees reflect the depth, consistency, and competitive excellence of the Saints throughout the 2025 campaign.

Lauren Reynard led the way for OLLU, earning All-Region honors while also being named an AVCA NAIA All-American Honorable Mention selection. Nationally, just 55 players received All-American Honorable Mention recognition, selected from a field that included 42 first, second, and third-team All-Americans representing 29 schools. Reynard's inclusion among that group places her among the top setters in the nation and caps off a historic season.

During the 2025 season, Reynard became the all-time assists leader in OLLU volleyball history, a milestone that underscores her leadership, consistency, and ability to run a high-powered offense. Her court vision and decision-making played a pivotal role in the Saints success, elevating teammates and setting the standard for the program.

Mia Francis and Chanisty Villarreal Bermea also earned AVCA All-Region recognition after delivering impactful performances throughout the season. Both players were instrumental in OLLU's success, contributing on both ends of the court and providing stability in key moments. Their selections highlight the balance and depth of the Saints roster and reflect the collective effort that defined the team's 2025 season.

With three All-Region selections and an All-American Honorable Mention honoree, OLLU volleyball enjoyed another decorated season in program history. The national recognition received by Reynard, Francis, and Villarreal Bermea not only celebrates their individual accomplishments but also reinforces the continued growth and upward trajectory of Saints volleyball on the NAIA stage.
